Cheaper Telkom LTE bundles unveiled

Telkom announced that it has revamped all of its LTE bundles to offer customers better value, which has resulted in a big drop in the prices of its postpaid and prepaid data bundles.

"The entire postpaid suite has been reworked to not only include new entry-level 10GB and 20GB bundles, but SIM-only and Top-up offers are also available for customers that already have an LTE router whilst additionally providing 24-month contract options should an LTE router be required," Telkom said.

This offering will certainly help stimulate competition.

The smaller users can now at least buy the 10 Gig Prepaid Data.

This is a good start.

Vodacom is still has the Bragging rights though.

R299 = 80 Gigs Anytime - Cellucity
+ 30 Gigs Night Surfer.

But we getting there slowly but we are progressive :)

Do existing customers also get the new rates? I've been on 20GB+20GB for a few years. Looking at my bill I pay R455pm with a R201.75 discount. So about R250pm vs the new R199pm.

well done Telkom, making data affordable just to consider mtn crap and vodascum had all the infrastructure since 1992 and 3 times as much customers but refused to offer affordable data offerings, South Africa needs more company's that care about us South Africans while still making a profit, this country will be awesome, thank you Telkom, I love to do business with Telkom for many years to come, porting all my family to Telkom mobile

Yes Telkom. Now make these LTE options available on roaming. It would be great to use this over the holidays at less covered areas/destinations.
