Yeah umm... you will want to look at other solutions if you want to get onto your own network. You could set up something like a Zero Tier network for the devices you need access to and then have all the other traffic go via your router's VPN.I stumbled across this while researching VPN's to use at home, hopefully some one can help answer a question for me...
It seems easy enough to setup a VPN service to run on our main router, an Asus RT-AC68U but is it true that if you run a VPN service directly on a router you can no longer access the network from outside? We have a need to access our Paradox alarm system, HikVision CCTv system and Home Assistant when not at home.
Actually, there are a ton of different solutions you could do.
