Vodacom 4U contract? No monthly charges (but there are no inclusive minutes).

It depends on what type of contract you want and on which network. If you're interested in getting R135 airtime per month try a Vodacom TopUp135 contract from www.elitemobile.co.za . It's R89/month without a phone. Otherwise Cell C is your best bet.

The website works fine for me??!?

Edit: Sorry - it's cached in my browser! They do have R39 deals tho...just go into one of the shops!

This is what I have. I thought it was very expensive, unless you are joking of course.
I know the contract is plain and simple, but the charges per minute is high as far as I know.
Haven't checked my statement for some time, but I know I pay more than contract customers.

Anyone care to advise me?
I try to use the phone as little as possible.
Most of my hard line calls are made through Telkom.

Although the calls are marginally more expensive than a weekender plus the contract itself is free so you need to factor than in. I rarely make calls so switching from a weekender to this saved me well over r100 per month. Plus you can bolt on everything but the sms bundles :)confused:).

That would kill me!

My contract at the moment is a Talk 100, 75MB Data Bundle, 500 SMS bundle and Itemised Billing/CLIP etc. I find I got over all the bundles each month, but not far enough over to justify upgrading to the next bundle! It hurts my pocket :-( Can you imagine 500sms's at full price...that would kill me more.

Any idea what your data for all those emails costs per month? I'm trying to figure out how good a deal the r69 for unlimited browsing and email on the blackberry is.

Uhm... I worked it out once. Can't seem to find it right now - but emails only, and I get quite a few - I guess around about 20-30mb a month MAX!! I think even less. I have it set to download 5kb, unless I select download. The rest of the MB I use browsing the web...which can go as high as 5mb/10mb a day if I am very bored or doing alot of waiting around! If you take the 20MB data bundle for R28 it used to cover my email costs. I found that my browsing used to carry be over the limit...which is why I upgraded to the 75mb bundle at R88!

I think if I had a blackberry, the unlimited internet would be the pull factor. I don't really think you spend that much on email - obviously depending on how many emails you get...

Edit: Oh yes - remember tho your R69 includes the push email funtionality and the data. I pay for my exchange server host (and included push) seperatly from my data. But then I get more benefit from it that just email on my cellphone.
