Cheapest flight prices in South Africa

The cheapest flights from Johannesburg's (JHB) OR Tambo International Airport to Cape Town International Airport are from Kulula, with FlySafair offering the most affordable flights between JHB and George, a MyBroadband analysis has shown.

When it comes to domestic travel, SAA and Lift currently only offer flights between Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Only Kulula and FlySafair are offering flights between Johannesburg and George.

There is no set price for these flights. It all depends on when you book.

I count 4/5 different options depending on how far you want to take the ownership/operator debate:

Price is one component the other is risk, even with the restructured airline the risk of cancellation still remains high, you never know when staff will strike, managent will fail to pay a bill... Flying SAA is simply not logical

SAA exists so that the ANC can give perks and favours to its members. That's it. It's just another way that the ANC syphon money from the public. Every bailout that SAA gets is a cash tsunami for the ANC.

SAA just resumed operations and already striking. I happen to travel a lot overseas and the times that SAA departed on time I can count on my one hand. Nothing much changed than before flights were suspended. Just last week, the flight from Ghana to Johannesburg was delayed by two hours. Then you are late for your connecting flight. Then they want to be competitive?? How do they expect people to support them. This is poor.
