Isn't FIAT = First In All Troubles? :D

Looks nice though, but doesn't seem to be of any practical use - except to pick up chicks :D

I thought it was Fix It Again, Tony. :p

Seriously though, Fiats of recent years have been quite reliable, especially the Panda (and ostensibly the 500, as it's based on the Panda).

134kw+ in a car that small seems like reasonable power to me.

True but to make it a tribute to Enzo?
Theres another little hatch coming out with these figures, so it doent make this that special... and besides, the Cooper S is still faster...

Sorry what JK8?

You're talking twaddle again....

Abarth 695 “Tributo Ferrari” 134kw 0 - 100 sub 7 secs
Mini Cooper S 128kw 0-100 7.1 secs

How do you see the Cooper S as being faster, unless you've always thought bigger 0-100 numbers were better?

FIAT has always been good at tweaking, esp with the help of Arbarth :)

I reckon 7.1 is even pushing it ... most the reviews get them tested at mid 7.s anyway.

I mean the Mini Cooper S JCW (155kw) only managed a 6.88 sec - and enhancements over the standard Cooper S include (quoted) sodium-filled exhaust valves, special crank and camshafts, reinforced and polished pistons, modified variable inlet cam timing, retuned through-flow exhaust and slightly upped boost.

Nah, FIAT = Fix It Again Tony :D

On a serious note, Italian cars have finally matched their German counterparts in terms of reliability. We now have a winning combination, the style and flair of the Italian car with the reliability of a German. Best of both worlds. :)

My father drove the original FIAT Cinquecento Abarth back in Europe in the 70's. He loved it. Personally, I'm not a fan of this new hatchback/hot hatch craze. But that little FIAT looks good.

I always thought the Cooper S was 6,5 seconds... mmmm
My iPhone says my 0 - 100 times are in the low 7s, I can even get under 7 on a good run... But a Cooper S is a little faster than me...

Not bad Fiat.

Under 7 sec on a Polo GTI at reef, eh ... ?

Better than any review done of it, any road test and better than VW themselves .... I'm impressed ;) Ever considered driving for them?
