Theres 2 threads about chemtrails but they are specific to a place or event.

According to wiki:

The chemtrail conspiracy theory holds that some trails left by aircraft are actually chemical or biological agents deliberately sprayed at high altitudes for purposes undisclosed to the general public in clandestine programs directed by government officials.[1] This theory is not accepted by the scientific community, which states that they are just normal contrails, and that there is no scientific evidence supporting the chemtrail theory.

It is then interesting that on January 11, 2012 the Fairfax City Council adopted Resolution No. 12-07 , "a Resolution of the Town Council of Fairfax declaring Fairfax a Chemtrail-Free Zone."

Tourism must be a bit lacking in Fairfax.
Nothing to do with tourism. They are very environmentally aware there. I've spent some time in Fairfax, it's a cute little village on the coast near San Francisco, populated by hippies and such like - and I mean the original hippies from the 60's who settled down there and had families while still keeping the hippie ideology. The Town has ordinances preventing chain stores; take-out Styrofoam food packaging. While it is a beautiful place to visit and a lovely town to live in, I wouldn't say they are experts in contrails

I think people should spend more energy on reducing ozone damage as a result of jet pollution than worrying about goverments controlling us.... Although it is a pretty novel idea of how to use biological warfare in a clandestine manner :D
