Getting drunk in China would affect your social credits if your neighbour reported you...
No, it wouldn't.

Social score in China is pretty much equivalent to your credit score here. Interestingly, my credit score in both countries is the same.

China has been sending their police to America, since the 90's

I am... If the US can open military bases, then China can open police stations. Police stations are a whole lot less threatening than military bases...

Since when does China have police jurisdiction in SA or other countries? The military has no jurisdi8ction over anyone.

“These Co-operation centres are NOT police stations and are NOT manned by the South African Police Service staff,” said Colonel Priscilla Naidu of the Eastern Cape South African Police Service (SAPS) via email.

“The SAPS is mandated by the Constitution of this country to serve and protect all citizens in this country and as mandated our powers cannot be conferred upon to any other.”

So I assume the assertion is these "police stations" are not about "fraud" but instead Chinese citizens that don't toe the party line?
Something I'd hardly be surprised they do

The usual people with hard-on's for America will keep going on about when America do things it is right, when China does things it is wrong.
But the reality is, these super powers are all massively corrupt and protecting their own interests.

The difference of course is what those interests entail and how that aligns with your own moral compass, or theirs so to speak.
For the Chinese, it is about collective thinking.
For American's it is about personal "freedom" and corporate overlords who must be protected.

For a Chinese person when they look at America they see corporations with people that have caused absolute devastation get away with a slap on the wrist (Boeing, Perdue, Firearms, etc.)
For an American person when they look at China all they see if a country that restricts people, but then China doesn't have the same level of shootings and opioid epidemic.

The reality is, this has very, very little to do with each country's own political system as they all inevitable push as hard as they can on their own interests.
If SA could they would push AA/BBBEE (or tax) into every country in the world for SA citizens. They just don't have the power to enforce that.

My 2c. there is little difference between the things China does and the US does

Straw man argument:

A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. One who engages in this fallacy is said to be "attacking a straw man."

Will they open in SA? Will they take over son-of-a-garden-boy's work ? Then we can have policing again.

You started this nonsense in your typical fashion and then cry for people to stay on topic when your BS gets pointed out. "Kurang aja" it seems...

You don't see any Chinese person protesting. Whether it is due to fear or due to loyalty, we don't know. Are they perhaps the most spineless people around? Even Arabs had some Arab spring and even Iranian women are protesting.

It's not really strange, the FBI for example has offices all over the world.
