The chairperson of the China Africa Development Fund, Song Lei, who signed a memorandum of cooperation with SA on energy issues on Wednesday, also had some advice: SA should streamline tendering and relax BEE rules to be more efficient.

Song was part of a phalanx of Chinese officials who briefed the media on Chinese-SA cooperation in the energy sector on the sidelines of the 15th BRICS summit in Johannesburg. The Chinese delegation included the heads of China's grid company, nuclear power company, and renewable energy sectors.

Actually this is exactly what the ANC wants, if big brother China recommends it then they can implement it as if it never was their idea but big brothers.

They are literally in a corner now where they have to keep pushing their failed NDR otherwise they fracture.

Time to marry a chinese, isn't there a guy on here that bought one? Someone tag him to send us a price list.

There are ways to pass off as Chinese

Maybe they will listen to China. Actually should have done away with BEE long time ago. Only the ANC can't see how destructive these anti White policies are to the country.

Take away the word Chinese and this isn't even worth a story, MANY investors has advised this.

All we need now is for Russia to tell them as well. Might actually see something go in the right direction for a change.

Its easy..... make chinese black then you dont have to change anything.

They are just requesting this as they want to setup shop here and with them not classified as black they will have to jump through the same hoop than the rest of us and they wont give away a portion of their company to anyone here

For them to be eligible for BEE, you would also have to classify them as South African.
