And I say animals first. Clearly humans have made a damn mess of this planet. Kill off 1 billion. I could care less. The animals are far more deserving of this planet.

+1

Also, PeterCH and his cohorts clearly have a very sad, small little tunnel world they live in. There is NO reason for cruelty. NONE whatsoever. Cruelty of any kind is unforgivable. Whether it be to humans or animals.

Even if these animals were being used to save the billions of overpopulated Chinese orphans, which I doubt, there would still be no reason to kill with so much cruelty. It is inhuman, and to state otherwise is quite obviously stupid.

She is pregnant. He had just saved her from a fire in her house, rescuing her by carrying her out of the house into her front yard, then he continued to fight the fire.

When he finally got done putting the fire out,
he sat down to catch his breath and rest.

A photographer from the Charlotte, North Carolina news-
paper, noticed her in the distance looking at the fireman.

He saw her walking straight toward thefirefighter
and wondered what she was going to do.

As he raised his camera, she came up to thetired man who had just saved her life and the lives of her babies and kissedhim just as the photographer snapped this photograph.

And people say animals are dumb!

GOD'S LOVE DOESN'T GET ANY MORE PURE THAN THIS MY FRIENDS.....

PETA? haha. Where can I donate to the Chinese? I think they might just be able to slaughter some PETA members for their skins.

You should put a disclaimer in your sig. Something along the lines of 'Do good to others (unless I disagree with what they stand for)'

What rubbish, so you say little innocent animals must suffer because we cannot control our population and we dont know how to take care of our own kids? What utter rubbish man.
Seriously sometimes I wonder. So basically the Earth must suffer because of humans?? Come on man.
I would gladly sacrifice a billion humans for the animals and for the good of Earth. We are clearly a plague on this planet.

++100% agreed

okay kids, just to get away from the China-bashing racism.

here's some lovely pix, news and footage from a US horse-butchering plant.

and for documents and some movies: http://www.kaufmanzoning.net/foia.htm

have fun.

I'm sure there's equally delicious pictures that could be taken of SA abattoirs.

Long as you forumites dont believe that your meat and chicken comes via a 'painless' process. Its funny reading people who say 'I don't mind systematic death being dealt to a species - as long as that species feels minimal pain.'

Go look at your local abbatoir. Oh, I forgot, you probably don't even know where they are - and like to believe that the animals die 'easily.'

Happy delusions.

Good thing I'm vegetarian then.

Also, it's arguable that food is much more necessary than fur coats.

The only people who brought up racism were those who felt it was the reason why we are against the Chinese. The fact that the acts that they are perpetrating are more prevalent eludes them.

As stated before, this sort of abuse goes on all over the world and we are against it no matter what countries are implicated. There are many 'delicious' pics of abbatoirs locally. If you would like I will take you to some of them so you and any other interested parties can see first hand of what goes on there. Another reason why we form part of the Horse Welfare Committee at OBP (http://obphorses.wordpress.com/) who would under normal circumstances have sent their horses to slaughter, but of course most people would rather not know about these sorts of things.

Good thing I'm vegetarian then.

I have been a vegetarian for years, but I will not judge people who eat meat as it is still an acceptable practice by most of the global population. Just because a person eats meat does not mean they forfeit their right to voice their disapproval at the abuse and torture of animals, although many would disagree.

I believe that by alienating the very people you are trying to engage is counter productive.
