Chinese hackers breached US Navy networks via home Wi-Fi routers

An alleged campaign by Chinese state-sponsored hackers on targets in the US and Guam has raised fears that Beijing is preparing to disrupt communications in the Pacific in the event of a conflict.

The hacking campaign was first identified by Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday and quickly confirmed by authorities in the US, UK and other allied nations.

Identify the routers and ban it, but I suppose if your president is owned by China he won't allow it.

Weird that it's just these fscking Chinese, North Korean, Iran and Russians groups who are hacking. Bastards!

It's so reassuring to know that the US, UK, EU, Aus and other moralistic nations never hack or spy on anyone.
They're like the Amish, kinky as hell but better at hiding it.

If one bans everything Chinese, you better be sure you can survive naked in the wilderness.

FYI......WhatsApp and iMessenger has end-to-end encryption
Discord which is heavily funded by Chinese, does not have end-to-end encryption.
Just a thought

Twitter which is an American company does not have end-to-end encryption for DM.
Just another thought.

Google, Microsoft and almost every government on Earth dredge every piece of personal information they can from our computers and mobile devices. They even know when you take a **** and when you are sleeping. They hear and record your conversations and monitor your entire schedule for the day right down to that afternoons doctors appointment. They feed your data through powerful AI infrastructure and build a psychological profile on you. They know more about you than you know about yourself. They do this to billions of people around the world. Nobody bat's an eyelid.

Hackers gain access one little old iddy bitty naval network. Everyone loses their minds.

There is a video going around of the iPhone taking pictures every 8 seconds but can only be picked up by infrared cameras

If you didn't create and own the private key for the encryption, that end to end protection means at most random people can't [easily] eavesdrop on the communication, it isn't irreputable evidence that whatsapp/imessenger can't decrypt your messages.

If an iPhone took a picture every 8 seconds the battery would be dead in half an hour.

I'm sure it does wonders for the battery life

Depends what you sync. Phones often have a tight data budget. So unless you have sync activated a lot of what is happening is not being sent as you claim. Alternatively I guess you also believe that all this data they collect don't follow the usual laws of physics and data transmission is through magic instead.

The public key is created by the phone

Lay off the tinfoil mate ... you and the putin teat sucker are hilarious

And storage will fill up
But it is partially the reason they are banning tiktok

Another good point, but one would assume this was all nefarious and being exported to the internet unbeknownst to the user.

Install Duckduckgo on your mobile. Go into settings and enable App Tracking Protection. Go about your business for one day. Observe results. After that you may want to consider what you think you know or don't know.
