Chrome 14 ramps ups Google’s browser game

Haha, was thinking the same think. Chrome 14 should have been called Salty Chrome or Crystal Chrome.

I changed to Chrome recently because Firefox was actually getting too slow and while I like it, **** is it buggy sometimes.

Chrome has been doing a fair amount of crashing lately for me... Something not even the newer versions of IE have managed lol (at least for me)

Before the latest update, chrome used to hang my gmail tab at random times (funny because both are google products). I don't neccesarily want to close/reopen my browser just to read mail, so then I'd pop firefox open to view my mail.
Atleast it seems not to be doing this any more...

Wow, my Chrome hasn't crashed once in the two years I've been using it :p But then I run Linux...

I'm on version 16.0.889.0 dev-m
The only crashing I ever see are flash crashes.
When that happens I noticed all pages that have flash content will instead show that 'crashed puzzle piece' image where the flash content was meant to be. Even Gmail has it for their file uploader

Chrome users:

1) Go to Google, and type 'Google Gravity'. 2) Click on the 1st result that appears i.e. Google Gravity 3) Wait 2 seconds. Something cool will happen! 4) Play with it for a ... WHILE! :-D 5) Then write any word in the Google search bar and press Enter. 6) Wait and see. Something even cooler will happen. Awesome!!

I run Firefox and Chrome. The moment Chrome gets DownloadHelper for YouTube videos, I will stop using Firefox. I guess that is why most people still have Firefox. Chrome is more stable and fast.

I also have version 15. Must say I like the improvement to the new tab page.

Yeah chrome Only crashes with flash for me. Even then it's not the browser itself that goes down. Some extensions just aren't as polished as ff like lastpass. But I'll take the better speed and memory usage of chrome Over ff at this point in time.
