Well if after having 5 children and already not having food for the first one, i doubt education would have helped...

Very good point. It is rather worryiing that the poorer less educated people are having more and more children and the wealthier, better educated people are having 1 or even none. This is really worrying to me. Within a few years the world is going to sit with very few well educated people and a seething mass of uneducated barbarians.....:(

This is what I was subtly trying to hint at

And that's bad?

It''s bad because mass migration of cultures often leads to conflict. People just like to argue more with people who are different than people who are the same.

Look at our country. Divisions and groups are often culture based.

The head of Austria's Catholics, Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, told an interviewer that the Vatican had forecast 40 years ago that the pill would lead to a dramatic fall in the birth rate in the West.
Birth control pills would cause a decrease in birth rates? Who would have known?

Your post was funny though.

Hehe. But it is sad to see this happening and know that the people who need to do something about this are the very people who are doing it and who don't care.

When talking about France specifically, it is really bad. If everyone from French speaking Africa (Burundi, Congo, Senegal, etc) goes to France, it would soon look like the countries they came from. Hillbrow is in fact very comparable to Nigeria.

An Interior ministry source in l'Islam dans la République (Haut Conseil à l'intégration, Nov. 2000, p.26) published the following estimated distribution of Muslims by country of origin

This was in 2000. And perhaps I should have been more clear. Not all immigrants from Africa are Muslim. Many are Christian. But that still does not negate the point I made earlier about how France will look when 'over run' or 'taken over' by immigrants.

It's still a large amount of immigrants (Islamic), 4Mil in 2000, so it could be almost double that today.

Certainly, especially the illegal ones. I don't even want to know the TOTAL number of illegal/Sub-Saharan Africa ones.

Improve fertility or decrease birthcontrol being used and have more kids thus being born? And who pays for those kids?

Since you didn't read the articles I posted I'll explain.
To maintain any population you need 2.5 children per family.
The 2 is to continue the 2 parents' line and the 0.5 is for
all those who don't make it - die, don't reproduce, can't reproduce etc.

What's happening in Europe and other places, according to the OECD
and other bodies is that there is an increasingly ageing population
with fewer young people. You need a certain number of young to work
for the old ie retirees. With increasing longetivity those groups
increase further.

As is Europe has 1.5 as average which is obviously not good
for the economy, for the culture and so on.

Well for me a person from Europe that's bad. Europe has a distinct culture and it should continue, as is it may not survive. Yes it's bad. Same goes
for the decline of Koreans in Korea and Japanese in Japan, those are bad too.
