How about tackling the REAL elephant in the room?

Human over population.
We really need to thin our own herd going forward.
Cows, sheep and fossil fuels aren't the problem, we as humanity are.
There is more than enough space for more humans. If you have not noticed, global population is in decline. Rather find ways to spread economies and cities so single areas are not so dense. Work from home and remote work is a good start if more is invested in Internet infrastructure.

The problem is with governments and rulers, not so called over population.

Maybe they should stop farming cows and sheep then and effectively stop one of NZ's biggest export products...? How would the PM like that!

Density is a good thing. We can stack people on top of each other like chickens then that frees up space for more important things that actually need it

But generally agree. Still believing there is a over population problem in 2022 is extremely silly. This has been debunked like 100 years ago already.

It's really sad that supposedly educated and intelligent people fall for these ridiculous doomsday prophesies, that have all been shown to be false.

Cool vid. I expected worse, (some overpopulation doom garbage) but this video is okay and doesn't support you stance that the world is overpopulated at all.

Btw the early estimates of population has a extremely large margin of error. We just don't know, we do not have any real data.

Debunked 100 Years ago? When the current population of 7 billion was only 3 billion 40 years ago? Population growth is now exponential.

The American Natural History Museum is into doomsday prophecies?

We breeding uncontrollably like a plague of rats currently.

Not in the West, where birth rates are about the lowest they have ever been (and not enough to replenish the previous generation). But feel free to travel through Africa and other parts of the 3rd world and demand that they have less children.

Soon they will have to charge people for shagging their sheep to recoup those taxes.
Won't that process be commended as it will be plugging the source of the methane leak and therefore be reducing the emissions. Some people might actually gain full time employment as a professional sheep buggerer.

Why does everybody automatically go after Africa when India and China make up something like 40% of the world's population between them?

On another note, apparently close on 90% of the world's population reside in the northern hemisphere... Quite the concentration of landmass to the north. Never really noticed, but pretty obvious when actually look.

Our own farmers may disagree with your tinfoil hattery
What is their solution then? To slaughter 80% of their livestock in order to cut down on methane emissions? Perhaps they (and you) should ask Neil Ferguson to do some modelling for them in order to save the planet.
