Erm what's happening with the Man United Thread?
 
Same thing that happens everytime....Im confident the United thread will be opened again though.

shouldn't he get a suspended timeout...

from what I saw you were talking about one thing (rules) and he was talking about another (freidal's instance)

he was insulting you so why should the thread be closed? shouldn't he be suspended for insulting?

FYI Alan Genius is not a Manure fanboy

An Insult is a straight ban according to RPM' sticky.
 
You can get banned for calling someone an Idiot. My word, is this a kiddies forum?

Yeah rpm made a sticky saying you will get banned for insulting another member.

Seems like that is only implemented sometimes.

He should get banned and the thread reopened.

it's a discussion not a insulting match... and I feel the discussion about the hand ball was valid, he just frustrated
 
The thread shouldn't suffer but banning somebody for calling another member an idiot is a bit harsh. We're all adults right?

Honestly dude, I think you're one of the more knowledgeable people on this forum, especially when it comes to your own club, and the international FIFA rules.

But, it has to be said, when you disagree with someone, it isn't always in a pleasant, argumentative manner. Sometimes it comes out as downright combative. I think dbecks knows what you're talking about. Sometimes he just says something (that might be subjective/wrong), and you guys give him a helluva hard time. And you weren't blameless in the United thread. You made that comment about sh*t on his lips. How fair it that? Does it also deserve a ban? I don't think either of those comments do.
 
Genius and Supa are trouble makers. Having said that, it would be a quiet and boring forum without them - however testing they might be.

(Just for the record, I got banned for calling Genius a stupid sack of ****, which I think is equal to "f*cking idiot" anyday of the week. therefore ban. easy.)
