Clearly arresting these criminals aren’t a deterrent enough. Sure, the authorities are looking into the syndicates?

The driver admitted to offloading Eskom’s coal at the Rondebult coal yard and alleged that he had done so as instructed by his supervisor.

I guess Eskom suppliers are small-pickings.

Yet again, these arrests are a significant step in rooting out criminals in Eskom"

No, no it isn't. Not even close.
I'd be surprised if it even reaches deterrent status at all.

A so-called "significant step" would be the arrest and execution of the higher-up government officials puppeteering all of this. That would never happen.

So relax, it's business as usual... just keep your eyes on the ball and get prepared, the long dark is coming.

We should make executions a national sport.

+1

A significant step would be to lock up the:
  • Owners of Ukusebenza Transport for transportation of stolen goods
  • Owners of Rondebult coal yard for dealing in stolen goods
  • Bidvest Protea Coin security for not enforcing checks
This is not a new problem, has been going on for years and arresting a driver and supervisor is next to nothing.
We want this and other illegal practices stopped.

Does not good whatsoever.

Orders come from the top.

Scrap the contractor. Until such time Eskom does all this is smoke and mirrors.
