This is now available in South Africa, brought in by a company called Cocazone.
Tel number 0861COCAZONE.

I've tried it and it's very good. The tea is made from the leaves of the Coca plant but most of the cocaine is removed and it is legal to drink in SA and the US. It really tastes good, contains no caffeine and is an alternative to Ceylon tea and Rooibos.

Anyway it's supposed to be in some supermarkets already.

"Absorption of cocaine from the leaf is much less rapid and efficient than from the purified forms of cocaine, and it does not cause the euphoric and psychoactive effects associated with use of the drug. Some proponents have claimed that cocaine itself is not an active ingredient when unprocessed coca leaf is chewed or brewed as an infusion. However, studies have shown that small but measurable amounts of cocaine are present in the bloodstream after consumption of coca tea.[2] Addiction or other deleterious effects from the consumption of the leaf in its natural form have not been documented."

No wonder you enjoy it :p Just kidding!

I wish. The cocaine has been mostly removed. The coca tea Indians drink in S. America still has the cocaine, this one is processed, akin to decaffeinated coffee, although there are minute amounts of Cocaine there. You'd probably need to chew a ton of the stuff, and the time it would take to chew that would be too long anyway as the absorbed cocaine would be constanly cleared away by the body.

it's great tea - been drinking it for a couple of years - no stimulant effects but it is refreshing, tasty too. You can safely have a cup before bed.
