A Seattle café owner was cited as less than pleased with a Wi-Fi investment. The Internet service led to single customers occupying tables meant for four. Moreover, the Internet-centric customers regularly stay for lengthy periods with scant purchases. Not only did the free Internet hurt profits, but it also turned what once was a lively social gathering place into an environment peppered only by the clack of the keyboard. So the café, is now disconnecting the service on weekends.
