Fortunately we're spoiled for choice in PE. Munro's and Masterton's to name but two.

R25 for a cup of coffee? Daylight robbery. I make a cup at home for about R4...

 Yoh, for a cuppa coffee?
I once had a Wimpy coffee in the 90s and that's it. (from above said list)
Do people actually pay that amount for a cup of coffee?

Bliksem. I didn't know coffee was that expensive. Gave it up over 10 years ago.

Yeah coffee has become expensive, the little coffee shops we have in our offices still making a killing though and they are about R17 to R20 a cup. I'm like screw that I'll go get a cup from the vending machine thing.

I frequent Starbucks often, i like their coffee and the atmosphere is a nice place to sit with your mac and work.

Imma Cape Town oke so Vida e Caffè for me.
Vida e has to be some of the worst coffee, definitely not worth the price.

Above list doesn't show the "loyalty" programs, e.g. Seattle's 1 in 10 free (yes, you can buy the cheapest coffee 10 times and then buy the most expensive one if you like).

Also missing e.g. Food Lovers, they actually have pretty good coffee, R19 for a tall cappuccino.

Not R20 more that's for sure.
Last I checked, most restaurants had over R20 for a soft drink...

Not sure why Wimpy is on the list, doesn't really fit there, the others (besides Vida :p) are actually good coffee most of the time.

In many cases you probably do...
Not the places I frequent.

Sure and you'll pay for it at the store aswell unless you own a bottling plant, soda stream or got a lifetime supply for free.

Just buy a bean to cup machine for R5k, add a bag of beans and bob's your uncle.
