So you cannot think of a single thing colonialism brought to Africa that was beneficial.

Not one, nothing at all ?

No I can't.

I can think of many beneficial things that were brought to Africa from Europe but for generations those things were kept from Africans by colonialism. Remember how the laws changed in 1994 - black people could vote and had representation in government, services like water and electricity were provided to black households for the first time, black people had access to education and opportunities previously denied to them, black people could own land, etc... Now imagine if this had been instituted centuries ago - instead of exploitative colonialism, Europeans had shared their knowledge, education, technologies etc instead of keeping it all to themselves for centuries - those are the benefits that colonialism denied to people - they are not the benefits of colonialism.

The British ended basically ended slavery in the areas they controlled. Slavery that existed well before the white man had ever set foot.

Zille is free to say whatever she wants, l. The DA however is free to remove her as a representative if she says things that they disagree with.
Clearly you do not know what you are farting. Why is it she will be charged for racism for her free speech?

Idiots will remain idiots forever just like malema.

Colonialism is not Apartheid per se, prior to Apartheid, and I'm speaking broadly about any pre-Apartheid segregation and discrimination policies, what were the state within the borders known today as SA? You ignore that ‘lands’ were essentially at war, all which seeked its resources. Easier said than done, to share. Circumstances set its course, and yes, it disadvantaged many peoples, the same which apply to the Bantu expansion. Truth be told, this very knowledge, education, technologies, etc. are called upon to be decolonised, one may think that these colonial aspects were FORCED upon the blacks which translates it in being ONLY bad.

We're not talking about slavery, we're talking about exploitation colonialism but anyway, colonialism started in South Africa around 1652 and the British abolished slavery around 200 years later in 1833 and even that wasn't the end of the exploitation by colonialism was it? Black people were still not recognised as people with the same rights and opportunities as every British person.

I am holding the DA to a specific standard. I don't expect them to piss over the constitution.

Once again omitting the colonizers prior to 1652. Why are you so blatantly ignorant to certain realities?

No it was stupid.

There's a reason, employees on Twitter put "views are my own" on their bios.

Like I said, it's been covered before but because it's Zille you wanna cry.
Would it have mattered if she put a disclaimer? Nope. Also it's not the first time it's been said but because she's white some precious snowflakes are crying.

Just post this. Will save you many keystrokes on MyBB.

The flaw with that being that the closer you get to government the more your rights are being violated. Why I can wear a shirt to court saying "FU@K the judge".

No I can't.

Those are the things colonialism brought you. Your piss poor analogies don't include that. There was nothing for the 'evil' colonialists to take away from you, but alas your modern education doesn't include that. Black people also had electricity before 1994 but nobody wants to acknowledge that. And who are the colonialists here? If you're not Khoi or San you are as much a colonialist as the whitey.

Maybe so it wouldn't be associated back to the DA.

But I like said, businesses do it all the time.

Of course. Mercs are for suckers anyway. BMWs are where the real Mccoy is at. That is why they are names Black Man's Wheels. :p

LOL Started reading and thought what the hell do you smoke. Personally I'd rather take a merc before any BMW. Every second idiot wants a BMW.

Aside from gold, diamonds, land, people and freedom.
Not sure what you mean by 'modern education', I got the same education you got.

There was no electricity in the home, the townships just had huge streetlights, also communal taps for water, no sewerage pipes and the so called 'homelands' were not electrified, had no proper roads or anything. The British were the exploitation colonialists here and I am a 'whitey' so your statement makes no sense.
