Could everyone that is having an issue please pm me the tower id, rssi, area and rough time of disconnections/slow speeds. Going to try compile a full list of everyone having this issue in CT and submit it to cell c. I will be doing this till this sunday so should be enough time for everyone to pm.

I think this is going to be a long list :rolleyes:

I have got 5 ppl so far (thanks for pm from those members).

UPDATE 14/04/11 22h00 - only up to 7 i don't mind duplicates it shows more people in one area having an issue.

It's Ocean View Drive (top of Sea Point)...

I checked it out tonight around from about 9, seemed to be very slow most of the time - apparently that's been the norm for the past week or so at least. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to get those IDs/RSSI, etc but hopefully it can still be logged.

I have added it but could you do ID/RSSI going to be doing this till sunday and submit on monday the more info the better. I will also be posting my "report" here as well so users can see what's up.

PS (@ anyone sending details) could you pm me the info. i don't want to clugg up this thread. don't mind comments but would prefer the info sent to me directly

Where can I see the info needed? I am in the Bothasig area. Disconnects poor speeds almost all day, but I have no connection usually between 8pm and about 11pm

I got the RSSI under the diagnostics field. I think it's under the Settings menu when you open up the Cell C program.

Ty to everyone that sent through details i've emailed it to cell c and will see if it helps them narrow down the network problems in cape town
