Companies doing Network installations?

Ok once I have completed my CCNA I would love to get into the IT field.

Would love to know at which companies to start...

Busy doing my CCNP too, so it would be a long time commitment but with very little experience. Any tips on where to start?

Really depends on you IT job experience and other qualifications.

I would start by looking through job sites (www.pnet.co.za etc) to get a feel for what employers are looking for. Try searching for junior network technician posts.

Its always the same old story, without experience it is difficult to get your foot in the door. Unfortunately certification, without experience does not always help that much.

If you can get in with the big boys as a junior that is great. But it might be easier to look at some of the smaller companies to get onto the ladder.

its pretty tough to get into, even with the qualifications..
You could try DD/IS/telkom, I found usually the path for this is for normal support work, study the cisco stuff, then slowly move into networking etc within the company..
