We are fighting this guys it is going so slowly , the SNO is dying on us but we fight, telkom has taken more flack in the last year than ever before in its life, we might not be able to change the world, but we can make a dent.

Fantasy is what people want, reality is what they need.

1 South African Rand = 4.51650 Mauritius Rupee which means that it is around R1,200.
Not cheap, but uncapped and probably with no shaping. They also state '...best service effort and no guarantee will be made regarding the speed of access'

Kenyan ADSL Prices: http://www.telkom.co.ke/ADSLTariffs.htm
It would seem prices are steeper than here.

Senegalese ADSL Prices: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.sentoo.sn/popup_adsl1/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dadsl%2Bsonatel%2Bsite:.sn%26hl%3Den%26lr%3Dlang_en%7Clang_fr%26ie%3DUTF-8
From what I can gather of the poor translation Google does, the Sengalese 512K ADSL option (excluding modem rental) is currently on promotion for around 50000 CFA Francs => roughly R600. The prices on ADSL have dropped by up to 50%...
