Cheapest fibre on South Africa's top ISP

South African households can get entry-level fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) packages on over two dozen fibre networks from one of South Africa's leading ISPs, priced at an average of R610 per month.

MyBroadband compared the prices of entry-level fibre packages across 27 networks run by 24 companies in June 2024.

Last I asked the R449 from Vumatel was an area based promotion so shouldn't feature here.

All packages are area based. Not all FNO's services all areas

Yeah but see the second part about it being an area based promotion. Only packages with normal pricing that's available everywhere service is offered should be included. Also none of this crap of providers having special pricing under a different sub network.

OK now I get you.

Vumatel creates those promotions to try boost sales in those areas. The ISP's just follow onto that.

I pay R549 for 50/50 on Herotel Fibre.

Works out to R10.98.

Vodacom and Vuma have major issues and I would never support or buy anything from them. They have been screwing my GF around since 1 May and cannot even connect a client that has a line (never used) installed, has a ONT and Router but they just shunt her from pillar to post.
These call centers are the worst things ever brought upon a potential buyer or someone with a problem. The people in Vodacom are useless and no one gives a shyte or seems to know anything and it's promise after promise............................I guess that's what happens when you give morons jobs and that's all they want is a job and more importantly a cheque at the end of the month.

There is no more passion or satisfaction in the youth anymore and they know and do fvckall except get paid at the end of the month.

Rant......................off
