The cost of services in South Africa has come under close scrutiny recently culminating in the colloquium hosted by the Department of Communication (DOC) which started today.
The Deputy Minister of Communication, Roy Padayachee, opened the proceedings by stating that telco costs must be reduced to make SA attractive to investors.
“Telecommunication prices are one of the most important barriers to achieving our investment goals,” noted Padayachee.
