Concurrent con. question

soz, have tried to look on telkom's website... with absolutely no success
every link i swear... eventually goes back to telling u how much they charge for rental...

Erm what i want to know is... for telkom's 1,2 and 3 gig ADSL accounts
how many concurrent connections do u get? and are all of them on flexicap?

and on a side note

While Cybersmart is more expensive than Axxess for a standard ADSL account (all speeds), its R 125-00 for a 3 GB account for DSL 384 users remains the lowest price around.

Hows this account for international traffic (websites n downloading?)
and latency for local warcraft servers ( if anyone knows )

When I was with SAIX, I am sure it was only 1 connection, it may have changed - havent used those pit vipers in a while. My axxess account worked just fine for online gaming, but I had the 5 gig. I am with SAOL now on the 10 gig account. I am not sure why people complain about them, I have had zero problems with the account and am very happy with them.

Per link below telkom offers 1, 2 or 4 concurrent connections on their standard, advanced or premium options.

AFAIK in practice they allow 4 concurrent on their advanced option as well but you need to request this.

Um Ye u can phone them.. It was originaly on 4 for my account and then got changed to 1 so i phoned them up and they changed it for me... It took a while but it got done .

On the www.telkomsa.net website, when you click on the ADSL product - http://www.telkomsa.net/html/adsl.html ... you will go to the ADSL pages and the "Access Options" tab on the top gives you the concurrent sessions: Standard (x1) ... Advanced (x2) ... Premium (x4) ...
