Hi Peeps

Has anyone recently been down this route - i want to drive from the Vaal to Kimberley this weekend...been using N1 via Bloemfontein last few years but its almost an hour longer trip.

Just want to get an idea of how the roadworks/conditions are now?

ooooh...DUDE I go to KBY every month!!!

use N12 everytime...we tell ourselves we'll use the bloem road but find ourselves on our way to Potch lol...last time I went...3 weeks ago, there were 4 stops...of +- 20 mins each...the raod between Christiana and I don't know...just there around is very bumpy...so if your car be low...beware!!!

other than that nothing majour...

oh, while in between the construction sites...ie when they work on the roads...beware of speed trapping and a very serious dip in the road it cought out alot of people you'll see the marks in the road...just be safe dude, other than that happy travels...KBY ROCKS!
