I have a problem at one of our offices (only running a router) that I can't seem to figure out how to restrict all the traffic going out (requests) to only port 80/143/21/25/110 (and maybe MSN port)

We've had a problem with downloading in the office via torrents and because we don't get capped but charged extra, we ran a bill of almost R25 000

Any help configuring this router would be awesome

If you're running DD-WRT go to Access Restrictions and there's an option to block all P2P and other services too.

Is there any screenshots or documentation on this software (not in german)

I'd like to overview it before I potentially screw up our office router. The intarwebs is very strong with them...

Does the DD-WRT software allow for logging per IP address? I was thinking of somehow issueing static IP addresses through DHCP (does it do leasing like windows?) and then have a router log somewhere to see how much traffic each machine has been using and on what.

Thanks for the advice

Here you go (just a sampler!) I just flashed my WaRT GL to the v24 final release from the last RC one which, as usual, went off without a hitch.

SURELY you've been to The Wiki by now...? 'sides that, a bit of googling ("dd-wrt screenshots" anyone?) will likely help you along. That said, it's a piece o' koek to do this: flash with the micro version first (the original firmware won't recognise a .bin file over 2.7MB) then flash with the generic/VoIP/whatever full version you want afterwards and get tweaking!

Kan nie sê nie but on a cursory scan, this looks promising.

...done: goto the [services] tab and go a li'l bit down to the [static leases] section where you put in the MAC address of the machine you want on a static-yet-still-DHCP address and put it where you want it to stay.

In short: don't panic, like many here, I've been using dd-wrt for ages now and honestly can't recall if I've killed a WaRT doing so.
