Confirmed: No HTC Sensation XL from Vodacom

Yep, Vodacom said they are not going to stock the HTC Sensation XL

Cellular networks do not always approve certain handset models, due to the fact they do not perform as well on their respective networks. The approval of any new handset on the cellular network is determined by the tests it undergoes.

We will not stock the HTC Sensation XL.

This sucks to such a large extent.

Any suggestions/alternatives other than the SGSII? I really wanted the Sensation XL

There are a boatload of new quad core/dual core/single core phones hitting the international markets soon....just hang in there a leetle bit longer.

I suspect Vodacom will start stocking the new Huawei phones soon and I they should be very reasonably priced.

Might pick up a very good deal on one of them.

That did not stop them with the Desire HD. The phone had issues for many months on the Vodacom network only.

If it is a similar problem then try one of the other providers.
