20 IDF killed.

400 Gaza civilians dead.

100 hamas dead.

This is not an infantry urban battle.

It's very clear! Hundred hamas hide between 400 civilians and therefore the outcome! IDF is good thats why there is only 20 dead so far. :p

The IDF know that and are willing to kill the civilians to get a handful of hamas.

Aren't you dizzy yet from going round in circles ?

You mean look what Israel did :p

Can you comprehend anything complex?

Hamas decided not to build a place to live but rather continue the fight. Regardless of history, Palestinians had a choice and rightly or wrongly decided to fight.

http://972mag.com/palestinian-kids-detail-abusive-interrogations-arrests/91851/

On the back of the 47th anniversary of the Israeli occupation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT), one aspect that is worth shedding the light onto is the Palestinian children arrests by the Israeli armed forces. They are a routine occurrence and are filled with human rights violations throughout their different stages. The manner in which these arrests are executed and what occurs inside the interrogation rooms, however, is not properly exposed. Basic rights that are guaranteed to every suspect inside Israel, not to mention the protections that are specifically tailored for child suspects, are not accorded to Palestinian children who find themselves detained and interrogated by the Israeli occupation agents in the OPT.

DCI-Palestine (Defense for Children International – Palestine Section) gathered in 2013 testimonies from Palestinian children who were arrested by the Israeli military and studied 107 arrests made in the OPT. From these testimonies arose a glaring and shocking pattern of torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, which include: physical and mental abuse; verbal and physical violence; sexual harassment; threats of violence, and; humiliation. Sometimes these practices are aimed at getting confessions from these children and at times, they do not serve any apparent purpose, and are done for their own sake.

Are you not even getting tired of not seeing or comprehending the situation? The point is they should go through the whole region and kill any hamas soldier and supporter that exists then give the area back to the palestinian politicians to control. While the Hamas vermin is there nothing will change ever!

So you reckon it's ok to have free terrorists as your neighbour as long as you have an iron dome system. So lets forget about the sirens and havoc when incoming missiles are detected. What about more advanced weapons that will obviously find it's way from Iran and elsewhere to wipe Israel and all infidels of the face of the earth as they need to do it for Allah?

Nice to dream!

Read my update.

The point is that the current situation is a 'no-win' situation.

Sirens and havoc (i.e. people running around) would be preferable to seeing children blown to bits (or bits of children) in a 'surgical' strike which is what I'm seeing now.

The scenario I outlined would not be a static one - they have to find a diplomatic solution - it buys time.

Israel has never given back the land is rightfully belongs to Palestine under international law.

Which is exactly what daveza said - go through the region - street by street, house by house, and pay the price in blood - because that is the cost of the moral high ground.

So why don't they ?

If you keep looking back, you will never move forward.

Commit to peace, build, stop destroying, take Israel to the World Court, lobby, etc. Just contribute to the stopping of the senseless slaughter rather than promoting it.

The pro-Israeli view of Palestinians in this conflict:

Stop killing yourselves
Stop killing yourselves
Stop killing yourselves

So much suicide.

Sad is it not? Lay the blame squarely at the Hamas Islamic extremist terrorist vermin's feet of responsibility. They are firing the rockets and refuse a truce twice in the last few days. This all could have been avoided!
:D
I have no words.

Totally smart insight.

I really have to question what Netanyahu is trying to achieve.

Unless they go house to house, grid by grid, they are not going to find/kill every hamas militant.

They are not going to destoy all the Quassams.

They are not going to locate and destroy all the tunnels.

What they will achieve is dead bodies on both sides.

Those in turn will create new converts of hate on both sides.

So please, what is the point ?

No takers ?

I'm thinking more like Saudi or Kuwait where things appear stable because of the strict rule of law where foreigners have little or no rights so they don't count.

But take away the harshness of the state and people like Saddam, and look what happens. An absolute bloody shambles and death around every corner. Islam and democracy do not seem to go well together I'm afraid, and that's my point.
You know that I would also not be granted citizenship?
