The pro Islamic faction in this thread refuse to even consider facts and evidence as presented in this thread. Allah forbade them to accept facts and evidence it seems!

Last week I was a jew, this week I'm a muslim ?

If you put a gun in a child's hand and tell him to shoot at someone. You are to blame for whatever happens to him.

Did the children blown up on the beach have weapons ?

There is ample evidence that Hamas keeps children in close proximity to rocket launch sites and military platforms so that they will become cannon fodder.

I'm well aware of what hamas does.

BUT, so do the IDF.

Collateral damage is accidental or unintentional killing of non-combatants. It is not firing tank shells towards an area where you are fully aware of civilian presence.

That is neither unintentional nor accidental.

Netanyahu controls who they vote for. Those Mossad mind control devices now taking over entire populations!

Which part of this is unclear ?

Netanyahu made it explicitly clear that he could never, ever, countenance a fully sovereign Palestinian state in the West Bank.

He wasn’t saying that he doesn’t support a two-state solution. He was saying that it’s impossible.

“I think the Israeli people understand now what I always say: that there cannot be a situation, under any agreement, in which we relinquish security control of the territory west of the River Jordan.”

Not relinquishing security control west of the Jordan, it should be emphasized, means not giving a Palestinian entity full sovereignty there.

It means not acceding to Mahmoud Abbas’s demands, to Barack Obama’s demands, to the international community’s demands.

This is not merely demanding a demilitarized Palestine; it is insisting upon ongoing Israeli security oversight inside and at the borders of the West Bank. That sentence, quite simply, spells the end to the notion of Netanyahu consenting to the establishment of a Palestinian state

This has been disproved already in this thread.
There is ample evidence that Hamas keeps children in close proximity to rocket launch sites and military platforms so that they will become cannon fodder.
Go watch the video posted earlier in this thread, look at the pictures.
You really are fascinating. So despite knowing this IDF still kills the children. Or is their intelligence not as good as yours?

Whatever soothes your fancy, believe what you want as you so far could not debunk one fact and refuse to consider evidence that the Hamas extremist islamic vermin are deliberately putting their wives, daughters and sons in harms way while brainwashing their sons and giving them weapons to shoot at the IDF. I care less what you think and hail the IDF for having the guts to protect their citizens and making a success of it. You quoted the ratios and that makes me happy!.

I don't know if the children on the beach were carrying weapons. I cannot speak of which I don't know. Perhaps they were wielding a gun and patrolling the beach? Maybe they weren't even playing soccer? Perhaps they were and the IDF mistakenly identified them as hostile. I am not condoning what the IDF did in this case as I don't have all the facts.

But if you watch the video I linked, you can't possibly tell me that if one of those children die it's because of the IDF

These children are born and raised to kill Jews. They don't even know why! They are just brainwashed into believing they are doing good.

I feel so much sympathy for these kids because they don't know right from wrong. Only what they are told to do.

Hamas are the aggressors. If you cannot see that then you are just stupid. You have all the proof you will ever need.

Oh and P.S, as much as I feel for these children, make no mistake. If one of them were pointing a gun at me and getting ready to kill a "Jew", which I am, I will not hesitate to fire first.

Call me dispicable, call me heartless, call me any name you want I couldn't give a damn.

He is not intelligent. In fact only forum decorum halts me for stating the obvious place where his status belongs on the intellectual spectrum.

Seeing as he is given carte blanche to spew insult and hatred upon anyone he wishes, I will be so bold as to suggest that the man is a total mouth breathing idiot.
You are being generous. By his own admission his head sits in his pants. Believe me he didnt even have to state it as his posts reveal it amply.

Sharing pictures of corpses on social media isn’t the way to bring a ceasefire
http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jul/21/sharing-pictures-corpses-social-media-ceasefire

I don’t need you to tweet any more images of dead children – spreading them only devalues the currency of shared humanity

How many pictures of dead children do you need to see before you understand that killing children is wrong? I ask because social media is awash with the blood of innocents. Twitter is full of photos of the murdered children of Gaza. Sometimes carried by screaming fathers, sometimes by blood-soaked women. Some bodies are torn to pieces. One no longer has a head.

Such images of war, of obscenity, of the “reality” of what sophisticated weapons do are everywhere. There is no more privacy. At one time the media would have thought carefully about which images could be made public. Lines are drawn and then crossed but all notions about respect for the dead have been ripped apart by the advent of social media.

Perhaps they already were. We saw a dead Gaddafi on the front pages as some sort of “proof”. We see shrouds and horrors all the time and television news warns us in the aftermath of every bomb that we may be disturbed.

But now on Twitter especially there are endless pictures of dead toddlers. These are tweeted and retweeted to convey horror at what is going on in Gaza. This is obscene. Yet the moveable feast of semi-aroused outrage that is Twitter alights on one injustice after another. A while ago my feed was full of butchered elephants bleeding where their tusks had been removed. Before that were lions accompanied by the grinning idiots who had killed them. None of these images persuaded me to think any differently than I already did. This stuff is disgusting. Of course.

Those who want to say something about the atrocities in the Middle East may indeed be genuinely distraught, they may feel that the need to pass on this visual information places them on some unquestionable moral high ground.

They may feel that pictures of the broken bodies of infants trump all talk of the immensely long, complicated nature of this conflict, that it can all be simplified down to this. Maybe that’s true except still each side continues to blame the other. Binyamin Netanyahu speaks of Hamas actively wanting “the telegenically dead Palestinians for their cause”. We gasp in horror. At all of it. Pictures of Israelis watching the destruction of Gaza as if it were a firework party do the rounds. Again with no context. This was Sderot where children don’t play outside but in shelters. Alongside these pictures social media commenters use Hamas and Palestinian as if they meant the same. So eager are they to be on the right side that they tweet a picture of dead children who turn out to be Syrian.

Does this competitive outrage matter? After all, 270 children were killed in Syria last month. But that is not trending.

Seasoned journalists were quite rightly disgusted that the bodies of those who died on MH17 were lying naked where it crashed. They were given no dignity. Where is our basic decency? We are told that to understand war we need to see the slaughter of civilians. The awful reality is that all wars look much the same. We need not just to see but to imagine. Those who cannot imagine the suffering of others are those who continue to justify it.

I don’t need to see any more images of dead children to want a ceasefire, a political settlement. I don’t need you to tweet them to show me you care. A small corpse is not a symbol for public consumption. It is for some parent somewhere the loss of a precious person. To make these images common devalues the currency of shared humanity. We do not respect those living in awful conflict by disrespecting their dead. Stop.

Read the article I just posted above.

But we also insist on proportionality; that the military value of a target must outweigh the anticipated harm to civilians.

a 5-1 civilian death rate ?

The deaths of innocents are not simply outweighed by Israelis’ right to live without daily rockets and terrorists tunneling into a kibbutz playground; but by the defense of a world in which terrorists cannot use morality to achieve victory over those who try to fight morally.

Seriously ? That's their call ?

They are killing children to make the world safe ?

Even Mac Maharaj could do better than that.

Seem quite elaborate for mere tunnels. Could those not be bomb shelters ? Certainly the recent events of the last 10 years justify the motive of people requiring bomb shelters ?

So why are there no women and children in there to be protected from the IDF bombs?

Grasping as straws as usual! I can tell you that the Israeli citizens are using their bomb shelters effectively when they get the pre warnings. Therefore there are so little victims unlike in the Hamas controlled gaza stretch where citizens are forced in harms way with the promisse of virgins!!

That is neither unintentional nor accidental.

You cherry pick individual instances where a single tank, ship or soldier commits a criminal act and paint as somehow the same as Hamas' stated policy of deliberately targeting and killing civilians.

By your logic the allies were no better than the Nazis because hey innocent people died at their hands too. In fact 70 years ago right about now the allies were flattening a town called Caen killing thousands of innocent French men, women and children. The same people they claimed to be liberating. How outraged you would have been.

Oh we can even ignore the whole "Legal" division part,I was specifically referring to the rest of the land Israel stole after 1948.

And we've gone full on crazy again in the thread,is anybody here from any side enjoying this dudes comments or think it wont lead to eventual thread closure?

Thats was lightscribe ,not marine1.There are tons of posts from both sides so I can see how you may have thought it came from him.

Their murder would never be justified especially not the 16 year old ones.I do know however that me as a parent would never take my kids to illegally occupied lands, that would be a huge failure on my part as a parent. As for the 19 year old well I'm trying to determine what international law would consider right on that subject,I haven't formed an opinion on it as yet,I doubt killing would be allowed especially if the adult was not fighting, but yes would be good to get actual clarity on it.

Yes I very much doubt it,although are you still classified as a civilian if you are in illegally occupied land?

I see you, like islamic terrorists, have a problem understanding that killing/kidnapping/firing rockets at unarmed civilians, even if they are on land you consider yours, is terrorism. Tell us, are hamas firing rockets only at illegal settlements? Only attacking those settlements? Only kidnapping from those settlements? Will they stop wanting the destruction of Israel, once such land is handed back and Israel sticks to what it bought, when it became a state? Mmm all no.

Hey numb nut,I don't know if I should even bother responding to your ignorance but anyway,Muslims pray to the same God As the other Abrahamic faiths.Yes Islam embraces the Jewish GOD,lol now go cower in shock and horror because you didn't know that.

In fact Muslims are even allowed to eat Kosher food because its in the name of the same GOD.So by insulting GOD you are insulting the Jewish GOD also which is the GOD Muslims have accepted and believe in.

Huh.....are you typing English?

Whose teaching young girls to make a profit while raping wives with interest? If you want to start criticising religions we can go on for days but this is not the time or place this thread is about GAZA so lets rather stick to the point and stop getting carried away.

The fact is Islam believes in the same GOD as Judaism, yes many beliefs thereafter are different but its the same GOD,just thought I'd point it out to you,if you don't want to accept it then nobody can force you to see reality.

When serving their own purposes, Muslims hold forth that they worship the same God as Christians and Jews. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Allah is not the God of Christians and Jews, and no amount of propaganda by Muslims or rationalization by well meaning "Pollyannas" can make it so!

So why are there no women and children in there to be protected from the IDf bombs?
Maybe cause the photos are taken by the IDF ?

As recent events show its quite a death wish to stick around as a Palestinian when they are around. Even for a woman or child.

You know I came here neutral ? And you almost single handidly make me want to hate the IDF just by your association ?
