Don't make a mistake by thinking that wiping out Hamas group will end the prolonged Middle East crisis permanently. Seriously??? Is it REALLY NECESSARY to bomb homes, schools and hospitals????!!!!

The ongoing war will radicalize a lot of young Palestine. Good job, Israel (claps).

So what do you suggest?

I think the problem is that Arabs aren't one big happy family, they are many different sects and tribes and they really don't get along. I don't think the Egyptians feel much kinship with the Palestinians despite them both being "Arabs".

But they all have the same default attitude of : Israel controlled by Jews is a problem.

Unlike Hamas, the IDF have never explicitly stated it as their intention to target civilians. If the IDF truly wanted to inflict civilians casualties then there would be a lot more deaths than we are seeing.

Unfortunately the lack of free press and independent thought means that people's attitudes are easy to shape to a certain narrative, much the same way as Russia shapes the narrative about Ukraine.

They are capable of taking out Hamas group while keeping civilian casualties low. Israel, you disgust me  Why the heck are they bombing schools and hospitals???!!! Spizz, explain this.

Yep the IDF could go Russian like in Chechnya.

The victory of Russian in halting the progress of the militant Islamists brought about the Second Chechnya War in 1999. The war lasted for over nine years, overseen by President Vladimir Putin. Casualties of Chechen civilians have been estimated to be up to 50,000 with Russian numbers over 5,000.

How can I explain? I'd be guessing and it sounds hollow to say that there are weapons or combatants hiding there. The people are the losers and for that we can blame Israel and Hamas.

Hamas knew exactly what would happen when they fired rockets at Israel indiscriminately but people seem to be conveniently forgetting that. When the rage is pointed at both sides, then things might change.

Somewhat offtopic, but what are your views on the new ISIS Caliphate?

I haven't formed an opinion on them yet, initial reports claim they are Taliban/al Qaeda etc but in light of how unreliable and biased recent media agencies reports have been its hard to use these as a basis to judge.

Lets see how it goes,a caliphate will help bring unity to the Muslim world especially when it comes to radical groups like Boko haram who claim to be Islamic etc it will be easy to unanimously denounce them but my main issue with a Caliphate is who will run it?I somehow just cant see the right person put in there and somehow feel it will just end up being some dictator.Hence I honestly haven't formed an opinion on it yet.

The first step is a huge political and international effort to isolate and destroy Hamas in the same way that Israel has been singled out. Maybe then Palestinians have a chance.

Really, that makes no sense at all,why don't we rather have an international effort to isolate and destroy the IDF since they are the ones responsible for the most civilian deaths and the ones violating international law but instead you suggest we should rather take away the little bit of fight the jailed up Palestinians have in them.:erm:

Hamas is not the issue, the issue is simple:ISRAEL is on illegal occupied land.At the very least Israel should revert to 1948 borders then use that point to say OK we want this land and we wont back of any further and we will fight for this with extreme force nobody should criticise us,but any other way leaves Israel as PURELY the ONLY aggressor in this conflict. If Israel goes back to its 1948 borders and Hamas is still attacking it then I guess the world and even Palestinian would say enough of the fighting we can settle for peace. But until that time comes I don't see why you perceive Hamas as the aggressor when Israel is occupying illegal land and keeping Gaza as a huge prison.

Hamas rockets are only hitting illegally occupied land, this is perfectly acceptable under international law.

NO DEBATE, ISRAEL IS A CRIMINAL STATE. PERIOD.

Exactly Hamas is attacking illegally occupied land which is perfectly legal ,why do people still think Hamas is the aggressor?

Why does international law mean nothing to pro Israeli supporters?

Because Hamas are storing rockets and weapons in these buildings, as well as using them as launching sites for rockets.
It's entirely part of the Hamas MO to use civilians and critical infrastructure as shields. If Israel doesn't attack because of the shield - win. If Israel does attack, cue photo-op - win.

Let's not forget the catalyst to this mess was the kidnapping and murder of 3 Israeli teenagers... It all started there and has escalated into what it is today!! Tragic...
