I'd say it's inappropriate you don't show nearly the outrage at the deaths of over a 100 000 Syrians than you do 600 Palestinians in Gaza.

By that logic one could compare a single fatal domestic dispute to the systematic, targeted, unprovoked mass murder of millions of civilians during the holocaust...because what value does one place on a life?

They are completely different and on a different scale.

Again, I'm not saying that whats going on isn't a tragedy. I'm saying that it's wrong to say it's the same thing as the holocaust.

The hamas militants also wear plain clothes. Obviously snipers have a different ROE than other ground troops, and if someone steps into their overwatch area they can shoot to kill if the person is deemed hostile. I don't know why they would shoot someone who doesn't have a firearm though, as a firearm like an ak can be seen from miles away with their optics. Could be an honest mistake or a genuine war crime.

No sure, I just find it funny that all of a sudden the term 'Zionist' has replaced 'Israeli' on the forum as if it's an insult. And the people using it obviously mean it as an insult and I think they are the one's who don't know what it means. Not least because they are using the term incorrectly

IMHO it depends Who is doing the killing and committing the atrocities? Thats the key question and difference!
