No sure, I just find it funny that all of a sudden the term 'Zionist' has replaced 'Israeli' on the forum as if it's an insult. And the people using it obviously mean it as an insult and I think they are the one's who don't know what it means. Not least because they are using the term incorrectly :)

The thing is it doesn't say an Israel open to others, its clearly an Israel for Jews only. Pro-israeli posters wont admit it with their stories of democracy but Israel is meant to ensure non-Jewish are limited. Some have admitted that Israel does not want Palestinians as the Jews would be a minority.
In any case going off topic now.

Some better quote about muslims supporting zionism :):
Muslims supporting Zionism
Main article: Muslim Zionism

In 1873, Shah of Persia Naser al-Din Shah Qajar met with British Jewish leaders, including Sir Moses Montefiore, during his journey to Europe. At that time, the Persian king suggested that the Jews buy land and establish a state for the Jewish people.[76]

Muslims who publicly defended Zionism include Dr. Tawfik Hamid, former member of a terror organization and current Islamic thinker and reformer,[77] Sheikh Prof. Abdul Hadi Palazzi, Director of the Cultural Institute of the Italian Islamic Community,[78] and Tashbih Sayyed, a Pakistani-American scholar, journalist, and author.[79]

On occasion, some non-Arab Muslims such as some Kurds and Berbers have also voiced support for Zionism.[80][81][82]

During the Palestine Mandate era, As'ad Shukeiri, a Muslim scholar ('alim) of the Acre area, and the father of PLO founder Ahmad Shukeiri, rejected the values of the Palestinian Arab national movement and was opposed to the anti-Zionist movement.[83] He met routinely with Zionist officials and had a part in every pro-Zionist Arab organization from the beginning of the British Mandate, publicly rejecting Mohammad Amin al-Husayni's use of Islam to attack Zionism.[84]

Some Indian Muslims have also expressed opposition to Islamic anti-Zionism. In August 2007, a delegation of the All India Organization of Imams and mosques led by Maulana Jamil Ilyas visited Israel. The meet led to a joint statement expressing "peace and goodwill from Indian Muslims", developing dialogue between Indian Muslims and Israeli Jews, and rejecting the perception that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is of a religious nature.[85] The visit was organized by the American Jewish Committee. The purpose of the visit was to create meaningful debate about the status of Israel in the Muslim eyes worldwide, and strengthen the relationship between India and Israel. It is suggested that the visit could "open Muslim minds across the world to understand the democratic nature of the state of Israel, especially in the Middle East".[86]

It is as per below:

[/I]A religious variety of Zionism supports Jews upholding their Jewish identity, opposes the assimilation of Jews into other societies and has advocated the return of Jews to Israel as a means for Jews to be a majority in their own nation, and to be liberated from antisemitic discrimination, exclusion, and persecution that had historically occurred in the diaspora.

Defenders of Zionism say it is a national liberation movement for the repatriation of a dispersed socio-religious group to what they see as an abandoned homeland millennia before.[5][6][7]

Critics of Zionism see it as a colonialist[8] or racist[9] ideology that led to the denial of rights, dispossession and expulsion of the "indigenous population of Palestine
"
So You say the supporters of the big church in Moria is all racists?

Thats the point - only palestinian vermin so no need to line them up.

[sarcasm]
Ya...clearly to avoid appearing racist, when they try to stop rockets being fired at them they should make sure bomb that town in Gaza that's filled with Norwegians!
[/sarcasm]

If you find a town in Gaza that's not full of Palestinians, let me know.

This from someone who referred to those not pro-Israel as Hitler loving nazis.

I bet most of them are fans of Hitler and pray for a repeat of his legacy.

Oh boy! I see a huge difference between those statements like context, sentence structure, words, etc.

You love to make up your own version/vision of what posters said don't you?

There's nothing wrong with Zionism and in light of their history, I can certainly understand the need or desire for it. Obviously not at the expense of others though, that's the kicker.

But without moving off topic further, my point is that 25% of Israeli citizens are not Jewish. So without even considering the many Jews who want peace with their neighbours or those who were simply born into the situation, the references to Zionist's when talking about Israel from certain folk on the forum is inaccurate as well as pretty stupid.

Despite the death, if Netanyahu and Khaled Meshaal broke down crying, hugged and apologized profusely, then went shopping for new shoes together it would be hilarious...and I'm fairly sure you could sell the TV rights and make enough to rebuild everything.

Because if Anti-Semitism isn't allowed (which I feel shouldn't be allowed btw) then why are "Seriously" and Gary being allowed to make Anti-Muslim comments.

I need clarity on this please.

Making comments about Third party groups of people is permissible, within reason. The mods will deal with those on a case by case basis, but usually it is fairly easy to refute those using evidence and logic. Most of the time you will just be ignored or cited for trolling.

What is not allowed are personal attacks whereby you directly attack a member of this forum or make insinuations about their intelligence and nature.

Looking for survivors is utterly foolish, I guess :(

They should leave that for medical personnel who are clearly indicated and trained to deal with war situations.
My guess is the medical personnel refused to enter a "hot zone" and these "brave souls" decided to take matters into their own hands.
