You are not searching hard enough. Pagad in CT. In South America and Balkans its the presence of muslim minorities that causes violence. Those bosnians asked for it. In USA as well the growing muslim population is causing a huge exponential increase in violence. Have you seen the school shootings? Indirect link to allowing muslims into USA.
Now that is settled thanks for seeing that muslims are just humans with good bad religious non religious extremists and liberals in it.
Thanks grantza. One feels sometimes its a losing effort to point out muslims have differing views. Many recognise judaism's links and contributions and similarities to islam. I think that is the saddest aspect of the killings. So much in common and yet so far apart:(

Read Jimmy Carter and why justifies the use of the term. Also read up the (about 18) laws discriminating against israeli arabs palestinian citizens.

Israeli Supreme Court has consistently interpreted "Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty" and "Basic Law: Freedom of Occupation (1994)" as guaranteeing equal rights for all Israeli citizens.

It's also worth noting that the vast majority of Arab Israelis would prefer to remain Israeli's than citizens of a Palestinian state.

I don't understand your description/definition. If you're an Israeli Arab (Arab possessing Israeli citizenship) then how are you a Palestinian citizen?

Apparently Hamas were not hiding rockets under the AlWafa Hosiptal, but on the fourth floor

Marine 1 ?

I guess he is never gonna answer my question which is sad cos I really wanted to make sense of something and his views would have been perfect due to his stance for Israel but against the settlements. I will leave it at that then.

I think we're going in circles here guys and I'm sure we all have day jobs after all right,or am I the only one?:erm:

What it boils down to is both sides have committed rights and wrongs in the past and as it stands now the Israelis have 80% of the land and a large population with the Palestinians owning 20% and having an even larger population.

Can we rather end this with a simple answer from you guys what do you think should be done going forward?Lets leave the past in the past.

My personal viewpoint is that while Hamas is correct that Israel should not exist in the first place they are also failing to realise that you cant just get all the people currently living in Israel to up and leave, displacing large amounts of people from their homes is never a good idea or viable compromise, hence a 2 state solution with Israel returning to its 1948 borders or even a 1 state solution could work IMO.At this point I'm for a 2 state solution with Israel returning to its 1948 borders and Palestinians agreeing to never attack it again.

The thing is we here can think rationally about it but unfortunately which ever side we support there is so battle hardened that they cant think like this,I honestly think supporters of both sides from around the world should form a solution and pressurise both sides to accept it from the inside, how else can this move forward?

If you consider the entire state and it's borders to be illegitimate from the get-go, why would you insist on '48 borders?

Immediate stoppage of settlement expansions by Israel, with a firm commitment to reinstate the 1948 borders.

Immediate cessation of (and prevention of further) rocket fire and other hostilities from Hamas and other Palestinian groups. Full recognition of Israel.

Commitment from both sides to build a viable, prosperous Palestinian State with mutually respectful and beneficial economic plans between the two.

Why should Israel not exist in the first place? It should, there should just also be an independent Palestinian State.

Most of those are quite reasonable, if a little premature.
