Non whites studied at apartheid universities. Non whites served in Apartheid army. Were also in the legislature till they became too many and then got a tricameral system.

Cannon fodder is not the same as being a general.

When were they in the same Parliament as whites?

Sorry see it was "whites" who represented the non-white voters before vote taken away for non-whites but "Parliament" if you want to be technical was all three tricameral houses when coloured and indians got a vote again
General - is he a muslim? Golani brigade appointment is a druze who were allies of Israel in Lebanon. In fact it was druze militia who were used to massacre palestinian refugees in two camps.

So... 1994?

What does it matter if he was a Muslim? He's Arab. One of the recipients of the Medal of Distinguished Service (their top honour) in the IDF was a Muslim bedouin.

Interesting piece on an Israeli Arab woman. Compare her rights in Israel to that of women in the countries around Israel.

And I note no non muslim countries listed so you are only anti-muslim?

Nigeria is a Muslim country? Learn something every day.

And the guy's point is quite valid. A large stroke of the criticism against Israel is not because of any principled opposition to violence against innocents, it's because they can blame Israel.

a question for the muslim folk

from the Quran:
Quran, chapter 17 - 104

And thereafter We [Allah] said to the Children of Israel: 'Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd

the "mingled crowd", how would you interpret that ?
perhaps a future single state comprising all peoples ?

Tricameral was before 1994. You mention exceptions to the rule as if it is the norm.

Ask any american negro about the glass ceiling. Ask any south african black post apartheid about bbbee and ee. But that will go off topic.

It also has a huge Christian population. Derp. His point remains valid.

It's called Myanmar now.

Indeed it will. So we're back where we started, with the Apartheid analogy being bogus.

But don't you think it's still a fair point seeing as it's muslims who are doing the most jumping up and down?

No mention of China or Myanmar where sure there are human rights issues, but can't you see the trend in the countries mentioned and why people are perhaps quick to label Islam as violent? These are actual war zones largely, and the only other ones not mentioned there that I can really think of recently are Mali and CAR which are also religious conflicts involving Muslims?

If muslims are probably the biggest religion and mostly in the third world, its not a religious issue but rather a socio-economic issue.

Name calling. Very mature. Point was Nigeria was mentioned because of the muslim aspect.

Nigeria is not a Muslim country (only 50%).
And there are many other countries where Muslim attacks have also taken place, most recently China, Belgium and France

http://www.news24.com/World/News/Fear-grips-Gaza-hospital-20140716

Shejaiya - At Al-Wafa rehabilitation hospital near Gaza City, a handful of doctors and nurses hover over paralysed patients, wondering how to protect them from more air strikes as threatened by Israel.

The patients lie mostly inert in beds lined up in the hospital's reception, where staff moved them after an Israeli rocket crashed into the fourth floor.

The staff have appealed to international agencies for protection, and say the hospital is known to the Israeli army.

But it was hit again on Tuesday night.

Shortly afterwards, the Israeli army contacted the hospital three times, saying everyone should be evacuated by morning as the air force was planning to intensify its air strikes.

Director Basman Alashi explained that the 14 patients in the facility, many of them paralysed or in a coma, are in no position to be moved.

And even if they were, he said, there is no place to take them.

"There is no place safe in Gaza! If a hospital is not safe, where is?

"We cannot leave our patients, they are helpless. They cannot move, they cannot walk, they cannot eat, they cannot even scratch their heads by themselves," he said.

Even as he spoke, the sound of shelling rattled the hospital windows.

Israel is a signatory to the 1949 Geneva convention.

Art. 18. Civilian hospitals organized to give care to the wounded and sick, the infirm and maternity cases, may in no circumstances be the object of attack but shall at all times be respected and protected by the Parties to the conflict.
