IDF strikes 13 Palestinians trying to infiltrate from Gaza
A temporary humanitarian cease-fire between Israel and Hamas is due to go into effect at 10 A.M. on Thursday and last until 3 P.M., the Israel Defense Forces announced on Wednesday night.
The cease-fire was requested by Robert Serry, the United Nations special coordinator for the Middle East, in order to allow aid into the Gaza Strip.
Hamas agreed to abide by the temporary cease-fire. The IDF warned, however that Israel would retaliate against any attempt to take advantage of the cease-fire.
