Hi

Im currently employed and the company I work has begun to use my photography (with my verbal consent) to promote their business.

What id like to know is being a full time employee am I within my right to charge them (over and above my monthly salary) for the use of my images?

Thanks

Interesting. I guess you should take that up with the boss/dept that wants to use your images. If they don't want to pay, don't supply new ones.

Were the images taken on your own time or company time?

It all boils down to when the images were taken ultimately, and what your contract with the company states.

They were taken during company time. My contract doesnt state anything about images or additional services

Normally anything created on company time belongs to the company. IMHO

If they're not paying you for taking pictures explicitly, I suggest you make sure that you have an agreement that you are entitled to ownership of the images and associated copyright. At the same time, I don't see any reason not to give them unlimited royalty-free usage.
