Confused!!

Hi there.
Ï hope I'm posting in the right section........Please help me out here..?
As from May 2007, I cancelled my ADSL by Telkom and Webafrica aswell.
I want to know what option I must use to get best value for money here..!
In my town, there is wireless internet (broughtband) for R220 month. The startup cost though is R2400.00 once off for 2/3 gig per month. I'm sitting with an HP laptop, and want to know if it is better to join MTN, Vodacom for 2 gig a month, I'm in Klerksdorp, Orkney area and the coverage is not that goog around here. My monthly account incl Webafrica was R600-R800 per month (included the voice calls of the wife!!!!). What can I do??
I'm currently on GPRS, and it is killing me the SPEED!!!!
Do I save for 7 months for that R2400.00, or join MTN or VODACOM instantly for R480 a month. What will be the best option.

well, first find out who has better HSDPA coverage where you are. Vodacom 's 2 GIG package is currently cheaper than MTN's 1 GIG package. Hopefully that will change soon. Remember, you will need an HSDPA modem, so have a look at the packages avalaible.

HSDPA is very fast, but does to not work for gaming due to latency issues. So yeah, go for HSDPA. question, was that R220 for 2 gig or 3 gig? how much do you need dload in month?
