Connect Note 10.1 to PC monitor via HDMI - possible?

Sjoe, Samsung aren't any help, neither are their brand stores so hopefully someone here has advice.

I was given a Samsung PC monitor with HDMI connection and want to play videos/games on it from my Note 10.1 SM-P605.

Samsung list an adapter to HDMI on TVs. Any idea if this will work or do you have another idea?

Chromecast , screen mirror is the best , also can do the same with a roku3 and screen mirror.

no cables and no lag.

Also believe your TV's HDMI ports needs to support MHL for that cable to work.

I do cast to the TV with screen mirror and via MXQ. Problem is, the PC monitor's wasted just lying in the box so I wanted to put it to some use.

Cool. Only other thing you need is a 5V USB power source. A normal external USB charger works fine if your Monitor doesn't have a USB port
