Connecting ADSL HUB to Telkom Router

Hi,

Got a Linksys ADSL Hub with 4 ethernet ports, and uplink port and a WAN port, all RJ45 size, but unable to connect to ADSL pots router from TELKOM.

Using cross-over cable supplied by telkom POTS router to connect into my WAN port, the lights come on the telkom POTS router but not on my Linksys HUB . On the setup page on the Linksys Hub I choose PPPoe and put in my details but does not work.

Any help would be most appreciated.

It may be speed settings - pots only runs a 10mb/s

Interesting, but I can run cable from Telkom POTS Router into the uplink point in my Linksys HUB and DHCP from the POTS router works and clients can pick one up, I can then connect to ADSL with the dial-up from one PC, but what I really want is to have the Linksys HUB doing all the dial-up and routing for the clients, is there perhaps another brand available that someone has already got working, please let me know...
