Hey guys,

I'm using x-netstat professional but it doesn't seem to be collecting bytes in/out data for some reason.
What app do you guys recommend for me to use to monitor which apps are using how much data? I want to be able to terminate a process (chrome tab) if i see it is using excess data.

thanks

p.s. i know some guys here use netlimiter but i dont think it shows how much data each process is using, only if it has established a connection or not...

update:
i just saw this thread - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?207436-Bandwidth-monitor-for-Win-7&highlight=connection+monitor
and looked at DUMeter, Netlimiter & Networx and they all seem to show a netstat but not how many bytes each process is using???

Take a look at CFosSpeed, I am using that on a home network with a 4mb line. It does have a budget feature that kills connections if a threshold is met and keeps pings low and stable.

I went to the link you gave but I dunno if thats what I'm looking for.... I basically want what x-netstat offers (the ability to see which process has an established connection and how much bandwidth data that process is using)

There is a menu option called Current Connections, that shows your tx and rx speeds for a certain application as well as graphs showing tx and rx speeds overall, L7 protocol, program, etc.

The trial is free (obviously)
