Considering a telkom contract

I was condsindering moving from vodacom to telkom and was wandering if telkom is a good choice because they are new in the cellphobe industry.do they have signal in all towns for they phones...any info on telkom mobile will be helpfull

I moved to the Telkom FreeMe for R99.
Within Cape Town, I've only gotten 4G with a small piece I frequent having 2G. I just set it to roam on MTN then, so I get 3G for that.

Get better service than CellC.

They roam on MTN country wide so if MTN has coverage they will have coverage.

The FreeMe packages are all network, if it says all network you can use it on either.

EDIT:
I am on the 1GB FreeMe contract. The ~100MB of data I used was on MTN as I went to Onrus.

Data rates are different. You can load cheaper data bundles when using only the telkom network.

But if you use ur freeme 1GB service no extra charges for roaming on MTN
