You can play very well without a mouse plus it requires more skill instead of just point and click, you have 2 analog sticks and 1 controls your y axix and the other controls your x axis

Don't let that console looser tell you it takes skill and crap.

You will never ever have the same control. What they do is they make the hit scan areas bigger and your weapons do more damage.

Some games add auto aiming.

The closest "propper" fps controller for consoles would be the nintendo wii's ninchuka configuration.

In short mouse/kb is thee best controller configuration when you play a first person or a rts.

Oh and this is coming from someone whos been playing PC/nes/snes/sega md/ps2/gamecube/360 for a long time.

Sure you will get "used" to it but in short you just end up "cope-ing"

sounds like it just won't be the same - will take the fun out of games like counterstrike where your survival depends on speed and accuracy

i play both PC and console titles, hit boxes are slightly larger in console games due to the less smooth control of the analogue sticks.

the time will come when Vista rolls out and LIVE ANYWHERE will allows a few selected FPS games to mingle PC and console players online. ;)
