Contacting Huawei fibre networks

On Tuesday morning a guy claiming to be from Huawei arrived at my house and said the vegetation in my garden was affecting the OpenServe fibre lines in my neighbourhood.

He and a team then proceeded to destroy my garden dumping trees and branches in front of my house on the lawn and in the street.

When I came home on Tuesday I noticed the mess but thought they would come back to clean up. Needless to say, they never did.

Now my neighbours are up in arms because of the mess and also because half the street is blocked.

OpenServe is very careful not to publish its contact details and Huawei can also not be contacted. I spoke to somebody at Telkom but I would probably have had a better response if I spoke directly to the mess in the street.

Is there anybody on this forum who have contact details for Huawei (they do not answer the 01151798xx number) or Openserve?

PS - Even though the fibre lines run through my garden, I cannot get fibre because it is not 'available' on my property.

1st up I wouldnt threaten....or damage anything... (you dont have any law on your side)
2nd - Huawei are the subbie...

Third... where are you... The regions are run by different execs.

There is a Query page on their website
http://openserve.co.za/open/fibre-query/

If you handle this right you may be able to get them to provide you a connection (of course payable)

Fourth - They watch hellopeter

I can guarantee you those were definitely not Huawei officials. It was a BS story to dump their crap in your garden and disappear.

Always ask for identification anf take a pic of it with your cellphone and of the guys claiming to be what they say they are. Then have more to go on.
