It amazes me that the spokespeople from HQ keep on saying this is a contended service, but I have not read in a single article that has been published, what the ratio is.

We have all been told by the call centre the ratio of 30:1 which I think was an excuse due to the speed issue.

Does anyone know of any "FORMAL" documentation stating the contention ratio that HQ has released??????

Would like to know what the ASA would say if it is contended @ 30:1

Or can we all start an ISP with adverts stating broadband and sell it @ 100:1 with out disclosing that to the consumers.

HQ take the hint......you need more press coverage after this last article.....could be a good start on monday

marketing has learnt a new buzz word, the thing is, ALL INTERNET CONNECTIONS ARE CONTENDED

bunch of stupid freaking dorks... the thing is, mweb has a dialup service correct, isdn/56k etc, WHY then, if you have ISDN (which is also contended) do you get a constant throughput?

does not make sense does it?

I'm downloading my little ass off this month just so they can contact me and cancel my service (seeing as i cant go to a higher package and im not willing to pay more for a higher package anyway) just so i can get adsl....

Help save the bandwidth. Decent download speeds for TheRodent! Stop downloading now!!!
