contract cancellation

Has anyone managed to get the 24 month contract cancelled as yet?
I've decided to end my relationship with Sentech due to the lack of broadband delivery and would like some advice on how to go about it.
I've tried phoning the support centre but they must be very busy today.

Try calling Nadia @ Sentech and tell her you are moving to an area that has no coverage, like Bobetikosweti, or something. Good luck.

I spoke to them yesterday and they said that if you want to cancell you may, due to bad speeds, or you can put your contract on hold and they won't charge you until they sort out the service. But then you won't have any service, so for me that was not a choice so I decided to rather take some action and put a little bit of pressure on them.

What sort of pressure? I have had two tickets open for a while now, one for speed issues and one for reimbursement due to lack of service and they've done squat about it so far. The only recourse I seem to have open to me is to terminate and hope that one of the cellphone giants start up their broadband offerings sooner rather than later.
