Hi all, I want to get a contract, one with that free off peak minutes. Which one out there have the lowest monthly fee? I dont need a good phone, so that doesn't matter.

Im with MTN at the moment and the prices arent all that bad. Theres a MyChoiceTopUp 75/150. Either paying R75 pm or R150 pm, which is the one Im on. Thens theres the once off charge for the phone, I got the Samsung Z400 for R500 or something

MTNSP also has contracts that come without phones and you still get the 15peak, 85 off-peak minutes. I think it's around R35pm (MyCall100).

For R29 per month including itemised billing and CLI you can get the Motorola V360 on MyCall 100, it is in one of the links posted by Yotch.

I have searched high and low over the last couple of months and I have not come across anything cheaper from any of the networks.
(MyCall 100 - 85 off peak minutes, 15 peak minutes, 15 sms.)

You can order over the phone, 0831233667.
I didn't pay anything for the sim or the connection, maybe cause I ported from VC. They couriered the phone and sim to my door.

I took out two of these contracts and I don't think there's anything cheaper that offers the same value for money.

Thanks, is the once-off connection fee compulsory, Last time I signed a contract with MTNSP I used my old sim so I wasn't charged the full connection fee.

I didn't pay any connection fees, that was with using the door2door service 0831233667. But do confirm, it may be because I ported from VC, dunno.

On the first line I didn't know about doing it over the phone so I went to the shop where I did pay R69 for the sim.

Thanks, think I'll go with the Motorola v360 on mycall 100. Looks like the best option for now.
