I saw that thanks. Can't connect atm, it says username/password is incorrect. I replied to the support ticket to ask them to check it out, ref COOL-20190805-288999.
Hmm, the account and username is active. Perhaps they haven't properly configured you for our wholesale VLAN.
Have asked the connect team to query this with Voda

Seems most Cloudflare sites are routed to London at the moment. Their website isn't reporting any issues, though.

Code:
Tracing route to mybroadband.co.za [104.20.9.169]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

  1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.0.1

Yeah, they did have issues last week during the DDOS attacks as well, since then MyBB's cloudflare has shifted to the UK it seems....

Could you maybe check on the router what a PPPoE "scan" reveals, if anything. Alternatively, use this tool on windows directly connected to the ONT.

I will get a team leader to reach out to you.

Thanks, will check when I get home. They did phone me now with the account details, I will check the details on the router first and then do these tests if it still does not work.

If it isn't on our announcement page then we aren't aware of any issues, so please log.

Thanks Ticket logged,

Just for interest, how many residents in an estate need to log tickets before it is recognised as a announcment or do you need to wait for confirmation from Clear Access?

Can you please give a bit more detail on these steps please? I was in contact with your support team again, they change the password, still not connecting.

Then I connected directly to the ONT from my PC, dialed up the internet connection from windows, gave the same error (username and password incorrect). Also downloaded this PPOEM tool, it was running for a bit, sent and received all packets with no loss. Can run this for longer if needed, not sure what info you want from this.

Not sure what the PPPoE scan is either, the support lady said that was what we were testing connecting from the ONT? I clicked on detect in the router page as well, from my phone it said "PPPoE/PPPoE Russia" but from my PC it said "Dynamic IP".

Support did escalate this call, hopefully they can figure out the problem.

Good afternoon

Apologies of this has been asked before (have not read the entire thread)

Any chance we can get a fixed IP (ipv4) without changing to a much more expensive business package?

Thanks!

We don't offer fixed IPs for residential customers :( Vumatel trenched is semi static by default though.

It depends, if we get a notice from an FNO it goes onto announcements. If we get lots of reports usually 20-30 of an issue in a single area we would check with the FNO and confirm a problem. Posting without confirmation creates too many false positives.

What's happening in Fairland? Dog slow.

Vumatel trenched. Couldn't get through to support forever, Tshepo eventually answered tried to be helpful but was useless (sorry). Apart from telling me to log a ticket so he could check with Vumatel WTF?????? He cant check without a ticket and judging by this thread we all know where tickets go.

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER :mad::mad::mad:

We would need to log it with Vumatel, more than likely having an issue then is you are testing with cable. Our tickets get attended to.

Been getting kicked at least 3 times a night now from Blizzard EU and losing tons of Skill Rating due to it, along with bans starting to stack for disconnecting. Is there any news on this being investigated? Besides the DDoS it seems like a constant problem every night.
