There seems to be some functional international access but now CPT to JHB traffic have loss galore.

I'd say many many other ISPs in SA would probably be even more screwed if they were hit with an attack of this level. Cool Ideas at least has POPs in London and NY where bandwidth is very cheap and plentiful where they can filter before things hit SA shores.

huh??? I'm on the same package and i get nowhere near those speeds to London. I get a 100 at best to london and maybe 500-600 local. this was before the DDOS of this weekend

That on a speedtest or is it just in general? Sounds like a tcp scaling issue or packetloss on the FNO if thats what you are getting on multi-threaded, although more likely the latter than the former as a scaling issue would give even worse speeds than that.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but... everything just died on me and I am even seeing 100% packetloss to cloudflare, 90%+ to other local services like discord and everything seems to be dying.

literally dead in the water for me.

I just want to know one thing, or maybe it's just me being suspicious but why whenever there's major issues with CISP these low post dormant accounts keeps popping up in the thread adding white noise to it rather than meaningful feedback

It was on speedtest and also downloads via steam and origin. I know that the CISP website that the 1000/100 is local only, which is why i'm surprised that his (Jannier https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/thr...isp-–-feedback-thread-2.1027306/post-24492055) results so almost 900 to London!
