Jirre, try doing a 100 concurrent user SQL stress test on your client's Database in the UK only to find out the blood red error flows on your unit test app is likely due to the crap internet and not the 11 queries who's bandwidth needs you just spent "optimizing".

C
looking at mtr all traffic is dead once leaving cisp. ddos does not do this at least some traffic will return in response so what have you guys misconfigured now?

this is from exit router ip 154.0.5.150 and 154.0.5.133.

in fact i cant even get any dns resolution at all.
Can confirm, everything dies at that IP

So, if we operate on the assumption that Cool Ideas are above board and not misleading us as to the cause of this, my take is they're learning - that is building a robust network that can handle this sort of thing in future. Dropping to a smaller ISP at this point is likely dropping to an ISP without this experience. Going to a larger ISP is likely safer (maybe, I remember issues of gross incompetence with IS hosting solutions so...). I reckon CI deserve a good chance to build their network, so for now I'll stick with them.

Their comms is way better than some other ISPs and easily beats City Power. A low bar, I know, but if you can't beat ""We don't have a stage 6 schedule", you're worth dropping.
What are you smoking? I wan't some. You are justifying things that don't exist to stay with them? Really?

Can we cancel, pay the extra month but have the line released immediately?

Sadly I may have to do this regardless of whether I want to or not. Going to be working from home from January and can't afford to have this regular amount of downtime.

@PBCool @TheRoDent I don't blame you guys for this but you're going to have to figure out a solution well beyond what you guys are doing now.

I won't be able to manage things next year if this is the best level of service you guys can offer.
